Tempting Tuesday--Inspiration for The Dom Next Door

My BDSM short story The Dom Next Door comes out this Friday, so for today's Tempting Tuesday, I thought I'd share something a little different. This edition features a couple of pictures of the inspiration for the sexy male character in The Dom Next Door.

When I set out to write this story, I closed my eyes and tried to conjure up the hottest Dom I could imagine. I pictured a man with dark hair, a sensual, piercing gaze, full lips and a bit of sexy stubble on his face. And Colin Farrell is the absolute embodiment of Jack Riley the Dom in my story. “Wow…” he whispered. “You’re even more beautiful than I imagined.” He unbuttoned his flannel shirt and tore the thermal Henley he wore underneath over his head.

“You’ve imagined me naked?”

“Oh, yeah.”

He ran his fingertips across my collarbone, down the valley between my breasts and settled on the waistband of my panties. He whisked my underwear off my hips and down my legs. My skin burned hot everywhere he’d touched me, but a shiver broke out on my body at the same time. God, I couldn’t believe Luke was making me feel this way.

I reached for the button-fly on his jeans. He let me undress him and I took my time, taking in the goods as I went. His abs were even more spectacular than I’d fantasized about. Cover Reveal for Red!

Sorry, I realize what day of the week it is and I know this post is lacking pictures of half-naked men. Again, my apologies, but Tempting Tuesday is on a brief hiatus...don't worry, it'll be back in full force after Valentine's Day.

I walked into the bar and grill where we’d agreed to meet and glanced around the dimly lit space. Mr. G said he’d be wearing a suit with a red rose in the lapel. Given that no one in this part of the sticks wore a suit—unless they had a court date or a funeral to attend—I figured I’d be able to spot him immediately. Scanning the dining area I found he hadn’t arrived yet. I turned my head toward the bar to see if maybe he’d gotten here early and was enjoying a drink. Nope.

No sexy Adonis types in a suit at the bar.

“Just one sweetheart, or are ya meetin’ someone here?” The hostess asked me in a syrupy sweet drawl.

“Um, I’m meeting someone, but I don’t think he’s here yet.”

“No problem. I can get ya seated and…Oh, my gawd!” I watched as her blue eyes widened at something that appeared to be behind me. The woman’s mouth formed the shape of an O but no sound came out.

What the hell?

I turned around and as I did, awareness tingled throughout my body as sure as if I’d stuck a fork into an electrical socket.

Before me stood the dark haired stud of my fantasies. No longer just a figment of my imagination, he was real and right in front of me. And he was wearing a suit that looked as though it had been custom made for him. In the left lapel pocket, a red rose bud peeked out.

Mr. G had arrived.

“You must be Eve,” he said to me.

Tempting Tuesday--Release Day Edition!

The day has finally arrived! Today my erotic paranormal Pulse released! Since this is Tuesday, I'm sharing an excerpt from the short story below...

Helping me from the car, he led me toward the massive oak that sat along the riverbank. I let him guide me so that my back leaned against the wide base of the tree. Spanish moss hung low from the branches, surrounding our bodies like a curtain.

I ground against him as he caressed his way down my neck. He again licked the column from just under my jaw to my collarbone. When I felt the tips of his teeth scrape along my skin I arched involuntarily, my head slamming against the trunk.

He slipped his fingers into my panties and stroked over my clit, sliding lower to dip into the entrance of my cleft. His fingers plunged into me, gliding in and out while his mouth continued its sweet torture on my neck and chest.
